TOPS [ONE] Update

    The TOPS [ONE] development team is adding multiple new additions and updates to the platform today.

    The following new releases will be live in TOPS [ONE] today. As a web-based product, there is no action for TOPS [ONE] users to take. Your TOPS [ONE] platform will automatically be updated in the cloud.

    Here's what's new:


    Community Setup

    • Owner Balances and Owner History - Added to functionality to link an import to an existing beginning balance import. This will keep the legacy history from displaying ‘$0.00’ for the running balance:

    • Resolved an issue during community setup that would create duplicate accounting periods

    • All imports will now generate a notification on if the import process fails

    Owner Access

    • Get the starter kit here
      The TOPS [ONE] Owner Access app is now live. After setup, registered owners will be able to:
      • View current balance and transaction history
      • View and comment on open Work Orders, Service Requests, and Violations
      • Send messages and requests to the an assigned property manager
      • Update contact information, such as additional addresses and phone numbers



    • Jobs for apply charges will now automatically run Apply Prepaids as well


    Accounts Receivable

    • Adjustments
      • Waiving a prepaid amount will calculate on the GL and relevant reports correctly now. Previously made transactions have been fixed retroactively
      • Editing accrued AR adjustments will save all changes made

    • Collections
      • Continued improvements to the Collections process. Fees and status updates will now post immediately. Any relevant documents will continue to process in the background. A notification will appear when the document batch is complete
    • Interest
      • Interest will now properly calculate based on the entered Delinquency Date

    • Charges
      • Apply Prepaids will no longer error when using Cash Accounting
      • Resolved an issue where some clients could not accrue charges
      • Backdating Apply Prepaids will not use prepaid funds that do not exist

    General Ledger

    • The default suspense account is no longer selectable when creating a journal entry

    Accounts Payable

    • Vendor Profile – Creating a work order from a vendor's profile will now behave as expected


    Work Order

    • Tickets
      • All open and closed work orders will now appear when selecting the ‘All Communities’ community filter



    • New Report -  Added the “Detailed Income Statement – By Range” report. This will display the individual ranges within each account type. The "Income Statement" and "Balance Sheet" have received similar additions. 

    • Annual Meeting Report - The balance column has been removed

    • Aged Payables - Several fixes and improvements for accuracy were made
    • Sorting - All available Standard Reports now have sorting options


    • All Communications
      • Communication batches will once again appear on the community and home page feeds
