How to Add a New Page in Enhanced Bills Layout

    1. To start, we will highlight Vintage Gray by clicking on it once. You can design any of the three bills, but for the purpose of this document, we will stick with Vintage Gray.

    2. Once you have Vintage Gray highlighted, click the clone button at the bottom of the screen to make a copy of it for you to Edit and Design.

    3. Once you have hit Clone, it will prompt you to name the Layout and provide a Description. For the purposes of this document, we will use “TEST” for each field.

    4. You will now see our Custom Layout “TEST” in the My Custom Layouts field. To edit this, you will single click so it is highlighted.

    5. Once you have the “TEST” bill highlighted, you may now see that the Design field below is clickable. We will give this a click.

    6. You will now see the Layout Design & Preview page. We will start by clicking the Advanced View button at the top of the page.

    7. Once the Advanced View button is selected, we will right click on the green field labeled as Group Footer.

    8. Once right-clicked, we will now click on the option labeled as Add Child Band.

    9. Once the child band is added, on the right side, in the field marked “Start New Page”, we will change it from False to True.

    10. After that is done, we will click on the button on the left marked “Subreport.”

    11. Once Subreport is selected, we will click down below in the child band we created to put a subreport there.

    12. Once you have dropped the Subreport into the Child Band, it will take you to the Subreport’s Layout Design screen. To make this more manageable, we will click and hold the mouse button down, and drag the box down to make the box larger.

    13. You will now see that you have more room to add what you want to the box.

    14. To populate the subreport with generic merge codes, select Data Sources on the right.

    15. You will select Field List next.

    16. Here, you will see the selections for generic merge codes categorized. We will select Owner Fields.

    17. For the purpose of this document, we will select Owner Name.

    18. You can click it once on the right, and drag it to where you’d like it on the Subreport.

And with this knowledge, we can completely design a page to our own liking!
