TOPS Support to Offer Multilingual Services

    TOPS Software is pleased to announce that beginning in April, our Support channel will officially be multilingual! For the last year, Support has offered services in both English and Spanish. Starting next month we'll be bringing on an additional Spanish-speaking support staff member, who is also fluent in Portuguese!

    Over the years, TOPS Software has flourished and grown well beyond anything we could have envisioned 30 years ago. We've been fortunate to expand our user base to over 5 million doors, and that means we're working with a lot of people from a lot of different backgrounds. At a certain point, we knew we needed to branch out to better support you all, and a monolingual team wasn't going to suffice. 

    Last year we began the process of addressing that. Communication is huge in our industry, and being able to effectively hold a conversation with the person helping you understand your software struggles is a necessity. So, we brought on Maria, our first Support rep to be fluent in both English and Spanish, and she has been invaluable. Her success with our Spanish-speaking customers has been a big step in the right direction.

    The positive impact bilingual support has had on our customers over the past year has inspired us to use the planned Support staff growth to bring on additional individuals who speak multiple languages. This led us to bring on our newest Support staff member, Juan, who will start in April. He will be available to assist customers in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and will undoubtedly be a strong asset to the TOPS family!
