Activate the Phone Messenger

The Phone Messenger program gives you the ability to send and track messages from homeowners to other TOPS users in your network.

To activate the Phone Messenger click File, Phone Messenger, or press F8 on the keyboard.

Internal Messaging

Phone Messenger provides an internal messaging feature that enables you to send a quick message or broadcast message to co-workers. For example if you need everyone that is currently logged into TOPS to log out, you can use Quick Message to broadcast the request to everyone.

To create a Quick Message click the Quick Message icon on the toolbar (fourth from the left).

To forward a message to another TOPS user, right click on the message in the My Messages inbox, and select Reassign Message To, and select a user name.

Monitor Phone Messenger

Monitor Phone Messenger activity by running detailed or summary reports for all users or individual user, such as the popular 'Time Spent By Community'. To access reports, click Options, Reports.
