Online association dues payments now available from TOPS Web Site Service

TOPS Software introduces a simple wizard that association management companies can use to upload data from TOPS 2000™ to CondoCerts.com for secure online document distribution.

TOPS Software (www.topssoftware.com) and AtHomeNet (www.athomenet.com) are proud to announce their new online payment functionality for their high quality community web site service. The online payment interface allows homeowners to pay association dues online through a secure interface. Owner payments can be made online and automatically distributed to the TOPS 2000™ accounting program through the lockbox interface.

TOPS Interactive Web Sites offer scores of features for your management company and community web sites, including the ability for residents to view their account balance, 12-month payment history, violation history and more, all in a private password protected area of the web site. Now, add the online payment link and homeowners can pay their dues anytime, from anywhere, all with the click of a button. Associations can collect dues, clubhouse rental fees, fees for social events or clubs, and even payments from vendors for classified ads appearing in the association’s web site or newsletter.

Management companies can benefit from online payments by allowing customers to pay dues from their TOPS Management Company web site. Each community has a separate contract, so there is no co-mingling of funds. The online payments interface has no setup fee, no monthly fee and no minimum transactions required for the account. The resident pays a per-transaction fee of $2 for a checking account debit, or $2 plus 3% for a credit card payment.

The new online payment system accepts ACH/E-Check and Visa/MasterCard and is accessed through a secure server to protect the homeowners’ privacy. Transaction fees may be charged to the payer or absorbed by the association. The association’s accountant or administrator is notified via email of transactions and the payment system will interface directly with TOPS 2000™ software to allow direct loading of all transactions without the need to re-key.
