Instant Access to Community Data made possible by New “TOPS
Mobile PDA” handheld application.

A new software application released by TOPS Software will allow
property managers to have instant access to important community
data. The TOPS Mobile PDA synchronizes information gathered in the
field with the master data stored in the association manager’s
primary accounting software, TOPS 2000™. On-Site staff can
also benefit greatly from the TOPS Mobile PDA through its integration
with TOPS On-Site™, an administrative management application.
The TOPS Mobile PDA is an upgrade to TOPS Software’s Handheld
Organizer Interface, and incorporates all of the features previously
offered by that product, and several exciting new features as well.
One significant new feature is the addition of TOPS FACTS. This
module of the TOPS Mobile PDA draws data from the community fact
sheet in TOPS 2000™ or TOPS On-Site™. The community
fact sheet contains critically important information about each
community such as location/community access information, legal information,
emergency contact information, approved contractors, and insurance
agent and coverage information. The inclusion of TOPS FACTS in the
TOPS Mobile PDA gives a significant advantage to the “on-call”
manager for handling after-hours emergencies.
Other features available in the new TOPS Mobile PDA include the
Gate Security Module, Work Order and Service Requests Module, CC&R
Violations and Architectural Requests Module, and Pool Pass Module.
Each of these modules allows adding, deleting, and modifying of
records on the PDA. The user even has the ability to specify which
changed records should be updated to TOPS 2000™ or TOPS On-Site™
when the synchronization is next performed. In addition to the editable
modules, the Owner database, Quick Reference, Vendors, and Board
of Directors information is available in read only format. The availability
of this information to property managers during field inspections
means substantial time saving efficiencies.
