We've gone back to basics in TOPS OnPoint development, focusing on improvements to user workflows, interface simplicity, and field consistancy. The updates in today's patch represent the first installment in this commitment, with a focus on how the system displays and interacts with contact names.
After the cut, we show some examples of the updates, or you can see the patch notes to read the complete list of updates.
Patch 12-2b for TOPS OnPoint was updated today. In it, we have incorporated several exciting efficiencies that you've been waiting for! First off, users that get a coffee while waiting for the login to be processed might be disappointed because we've optimized the login screen to improve the processing speed significantly. Chrome users will also be excited to learn that they can now add CC&R records without issue.
in CC&R we've added a new "Take Next Action" option to the list views in CC&Rs By Home, Violations and Architectural. This option works similarly to the feature on the CC&R Dashboard. Simply check to select a range of records on the list view, and click Take Next Action to automatically print the letter for that record.

Last month, TOPS released a brand new Form Letter program for TOPS OnPoint. This program took the traditional Form Letter program and turned it on it's head with all kinds of new and exciting features. Since its release, our development team have been getting feedback from customers with all kinds of ideas to help us improve the program even more. This month's TOPS OnPoint patch incorporates much of that feedback. Check out the Patch Notes for February 2012.

Welcome back to our TOPS question and answer blog series, Q&A. After the cut, we talk about going paperless with TOPS Pro, how to transfer communities between management companies, the origins of TOPS and more! I am Andrea Drennen, your hostess on this journey, and your personal TOPS researcher. You ask me the questions and I do my best to find you the answers you seek. However, please try to keep your questions limited to topics related to TOPS Software, I can't do much to help you plan your summer's end pool party. (Feel free to invite me though!) ...
As the delivery date gets closer, TOPS Software is bringing on more beta testers. Our goal remains to deliver the best possible web-based property management suite and getting client feedback is the best vehicle to making sure we hit that mark.
