2005 Program Updates

Added Happy Holidays 2005, 70's Mod, and Alien Antics to themes.

Updated the icons on the Dolphins theme, and updated the background on the Happy Holidays theme, which has been renamed to Happy Holidays 2004.

Updated icons throughout software.

Added Knowledge Base link under Help menu.

Insert Merge Code button in Form Letter now inserts the last used merge code.

Added merge codes from Community Fact Sheet and Management Company info to Form Letter.

Added User Assignments feature to Users and Passwords, under Settings Read More.

Added new "Rebuild Selected Community" option under Utilities/Rebuild Access Data.

Made a number of formatting adjustments to PDF reports.

Corrected security lock-out issue when only one user license has been purchased and the user is accessing TOPS via Terminal Server.

Corrected window placement error that caused programs to disappear when minimized.

An option for Dynamic Systems has been added to the "Create Coupon File" program. Dynamic Systems now provides coupon printing services, in addition to their quality custom form printing services.

A new budget import and export utility has been created. The budget can now be exported and imported from the Budget Utilities. This feature is found under the Utilities, Check/Repair GL option. There is a button for Budget Utilities. The work files get created in the \TOPS2000\BudgetWorkFile directory, and will be named "BudgetWorkFileXXX.csv" (XXX = Community ID).

Employees may now have more than two "Before Tax" deductions. 

Distribution of wages now correctly calculates when communicating with G/L.

Increased account and lot number fields in statements to 10 characters. 

Income statements can now include both variable sub-accounts and cost centers at the same time.

The TOPS Email program has been updated to always use the default email program on the user's machine. From now on, you will not be required to set up your email account in TOPS 2000™.

The TOPS Internet Updater has been updated for better performance.

Added "Kanji Characters", "Pagoda", "Sushi Time", and "Zen and the Art of Kung Fu" themes.

Removed PDFs, Attachments, Filed Reports, and temporary database files from the "Transfer Community to TOPS" utility. This change will speed the upload process significantly when sending problem communities to TOPS Support for review.

Corrected issues with deductions earning code for "Tips".

Employees with 2 or more earnings codes will not correctly print on check stubs.

Balance warning has been added for shortages in sick or vacation hours.

Leading zeros are no longer necessary when entering employee numbers to process payroll, allowing distributions to save correctly.

In Manual Payroll, SUI will now calculate correctly if the employee has not reached the maximum.

Quarterly Reports will no reflect data converted from the DOS Payroll correctly.

You are now able to attach files to CC&R records. Attachments can be drawings, documents spread sheets, as long as the attachment is an electronic file that can be stored with the CC&R record it can be attached. Whatever the attachment type, be sure the necessary application/software needed to open and view the attachment is accessible from the users workstation.

The Balance Sheet Net Income calculation has been corrected so that you no longer have to change your accounting periods in order to print the previous year's fiscal reports.
