2008 Program Updates

Modified the function of the "next" and "previous" arrow buttons. Affects CC&R, Work Order, Gate and Pool Pass.

Modified the control so that when you navigate away from the owner selector and return to it, it remembers where you left off. Affects CC&R, Work Order, Gate and Pool Pass.

Reports. Resolved an issue with certain Chart of Account configurations printing a blank line on the Income Statement.

Online Payments. Resolved an issue with the Hold Payment Flag updating during the upload.

Batch Entry. Resolved issue with letters are not printing through the CCR Batch Entry program.

Resolved issues when updating workstation from server. Certain programs were not updating all program files.

Resolved certain situations which generated access violation errors. In most cases, it was related the the Client ID entry in the Internet Control Center.

Enhanced Internet Updater program when selecting and deselecting individual program files to update..

Reports. Corrected the CCR History printing blank page issue when ordered by account number or lot/unit number with any range.

Resolved an issue when clicking on the Print Report button on the CC&R Reminder screen.

Reports. Resolved an issue with reports not opening if data path set using UNC mapping, such as \\Ftpserver\tops2000.

Reports > Income Statement. Resolved a leap year issue when using the Prior Actual or Budget options. Only occurred when current year is not 2008.

NOTE: The "TOPS 2000" under the Module to Check drop-down listing has been changed to "TOPS v321".

Enter AP. Resolved an issue when typing in the Vendor name (not the Vendor ID and not the Vendor browse) in the Vendor field. System will issue warnings for insurance expirations.

Print Checks. Resolved rare issue with Cash Balance displaying 0.00.

Collection > Process Collections. Resolved issue answering prompt to Print letter for both Owner Alt Address and Property Address, if Alt Address is used?.

Corrected issue when using Accelerated Charges in the A/R Utility screen and the Owner Balance Summary report..

Reports > Aged Owner Balances. Include Print Detail. If there is no history in a community, the report will no longer generate an error.

Bills & Coupons. Statements. Invoices. Resolved a printing issue when printing for All Owner Groups.

Owner Balances. Corrected Coupon button printing. Custom program installed. Coupon button will open Owner Coupons window, but printing will generate a blank page.

Collection. Process Collections. Collection letters are set to attach to Owners. Updated to correctly name the letter in the Attachment Control. The letter itself is correct.

Owner Balances > History > Print. Resolved an issue with certain Financial Transactions (Owner Payment History) reports not printing owner names. This also resolved the column headings to printing incorrectly.

CC&R History report. Corrected an issue when typing in account numbers activating the drop down menu.

CC&R Records. Fixed an issue with the account number and lot/unit number fields and the ability to enter a different number. Records window no longer needs to be closed and reopened.

Resolved issue when answering Yes to Update Action Table updating the Last / Next Inspection date.

Batch Violations. Will ask user if they want to Update Action Table.

CC&R Records.Resolved an issue with he account number and lot/unit number drop down function when selecting a new account number or lot/unit number.

Global AP > Bills. Resolved titlebar name issue when adding a Bill, changing communities and adding in a new vendor for that community.

Global AP > Bills. Enter Bills. Removed Post button from bottom right. Use the navigation on the left to access the Post AP window.

Global AP > Recurring AP. Enter Recurring AP. Removed Select & Post button. Use the navigation on the left to access the Post AP window.

Modified the GateHouse program (not Gate Security) and how data is reported.

Resolved an issue when running jobs to print Collection Letters. Letters will attach to owners in that community as long as the Form Letter option Do Not Attach Form Letters is NOT checked for that community.

Edit or Delete a Job. When saving an edited job under a new name, all the details belonging to the original job will save with the original job: Job Type, Last Run Date, Create Date, Created By.

Categorize Collections job. Added new function. There is now an option to choose "Categorize Using Collection Table" or "Force Delinquent Owners to Selected Category". If the optiont to "Force" is selected, just checkmark the category to include.

Print Form Letters job. Resolved reprint issue concerning merge code data.

Recurring Journal Entry job. Corrected issue with community name printing on reports.

Run a Job window. Changing the View All Jobs drop down will update the job listing when a different job is selected.

Report Defaults job. Updated the 'Report Default Job' field at the bottom in Run an Existing Job, Create a New Job and Edit or Delete a Job.

Run an Existing Job. Report Defaults. Jobs that are set to Print to Email can only be set to save for one community only. Any subsequent communities will need to be set up in their own Report Defaults jobs.

Jobs with accrue functions, such as Categorize. Click to highlight property after accueing, then click Select will open that functions window in TOPS. For example, an Apply Late Fee job will open the Apply Late Fee window for that community.

Recurring AP job. Corrected community totals calculation on screen.

Maintain > Owner Resale. Resolved issue with higher level charge table categories transferring to the new owner during the resale. Categories do not need to be re-selected for these charge tables.

Utility menu. Added Hand Held Utility menu option for previous version of the Hand Held program. Mobile Device Utility will open the new TOPS Mobile Manager program.

Maintain > Attachment Control. Resolved issue with window appearing behind the Maintain window.

Modified to handle Developer-owned properties.

Plug-Ins will run via Calendar/Scheduler. User intevention is no longer required. Window will close itself.

Added 2 fields to the upload.

Modified Bank Account windows.

Corrected the Aged Owner Balance report when the option for Descending Order has been checkmarked and the Report Defaults file has been saved.

Utility menu. Added Hand Held Utility menu option for previous version of the Hand Held program. Mobile Device Utility will open the new TOPS Mobile Manager program.

Fixed an issue with the "Next" and "Previous" record navigation buttons after clicking on either the "First" or "Last" records navigation buttons.

Customize > Use Unlimited Flex Data. Turning on Unlimited Flex Data for the first time will activate Unlimited Flex Data for all workstations. This is a global setting across the network.

Administration > Users & Passwords > Groups. Resolved an issue with users restricted from Unlimited Flex Reports, but who have access to Unlimited Flex.

Process Payroll. Resolved an issue when Calculating Payroll across multiple departments.

Owner AR Activity report. Now excludes previous owners with 0.00 balances and no activity.

Updated screen in Plug-Ins module.

Updated holidays to include 2008 and 2009.

Enhanced functionality of the Internet Updater routine.

Updates made to Vendors flagged as Global Vendors will update those Vendors for all communities after clicking "Ok" button.
