TOPS U: Internet Training
By popular Demand, TOPS U is expanding our course offerings to
provide more online training opportunities each month. In January,
we will be offering three courses and four courses, including the
popular series of classes on the CCR/ACC Enforcement module, will
be offered in February.
January Courses at TOPS U
ACCNT-303 The Collections Process
Our first course for January will be ACCNT-303 The
Collections Process. This course will review the collections process
and cover the steps needed to set up the collection function parameters.
The course will highlight items that should be considered when setting
up the collection process. At the end of this course, students should
have a good understanding of how to set up the collection tables
and process collections on a consistent basis. Our class will be
held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
ADM-301 TOPS v3.2.1™ Administration
Our second course for January will be ADM-301 TOPS v3.2.1™
Administration. This course will provide the TOPS v3.2.1™
Administrator with the skills necessary to maintain the integrity
of Tops v3.2.1™ data and oversee the TOPS v3.2.1™ installation
in a Management office.
Topics covered in this course include Basic Installation Requirements,
Community Directory Structure, Backing Up Community Data, Keeping
TOPS Program Files Up to Date, The TOPS Utilities Menu and Uses,
Resolving Common Errors, and more! Students, prior to taking this
course, should have a good understanding of the TOPS v3.2.1™
program as well as a general understanding of the Windows® operating
system. Because there is a large amount of information to convey
in this class, it will be a two day class and will be held at 2:00
PM EST on Tuesday, January 16, 2008 and Wednesday, January 17, 2008.
CAL-101 Calendar/Scheduler Overview
Our third course for January will be CAL-101 Calendar/Scheduler
Overview. This course will cover how to schedule, run, and assign
tasks and services on a recurring or one time basis along with many
other helpful tools to maximize the efficiency of managing your
community. Our class will be held on Wednesday. January
23, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
February Courses at TOPS U
TRF-101 Transfer of Ownership
Our First course for February will be TRF-101 Transfer of Ownership.
This course will review the various steps and processes for updating
owner information due to a resale or transfer of ownership. The
course will highlight items that should be considered from the time
you receive the Demand from the Title Company thru posting the Escrow
check into the new homeowner account. At the end of this course,
students should have a good understanding of the process for transferring
ownership. Our class will be held on Wednesday, February
6, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
ACCNT-401 Customizing Financial Reports
Our second course for February will be ACCNT-401 Customizing Financial
Reports. This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge
and understanding to customize your financial statements generated
out of the General Ledger module. Have you ever wanted to have your
income accounts grouped with subtotals like the expense accounts?
Then this course is for you! In this class we will discuss the steps
necessary to edit your existing financial statements or create new
ones to obtain the layout that will most effectively present a community’s
financial position. Our class will be held on Wednesday,
February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
WO-101 Work Order Module Basics
Our third course for February will be WO-101 Work Order Module
Basics. This course is designed to help you manage work orders and
service requests as efficiently as possible. When completed you
should be able to add service requests and work orders, track costs,
invoice the home owner, and define the standard process of managing
work orders and/or service requests for your organization or community.
Our class will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2008 at
2:00 PM EST.
CCR/ACC Enforcement Series
Back by popular demand! We will be offering the 4 course series
on the CCR Module. This series starts you right at the beginning
with proper set up and finishes up with the more advanced features
of the CCR module. We will review some of the best practices we
have come across during our years in the industry. So if you want
to make sure you taking full advantage of your CCR/ACC Enforcement
module then you will definitely want to check out this series. This
series will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 thru Friday,
February 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
