December Course at TOPS U

Last month we officially opened TOPS University, a new way to receive interactive training for all of your TOPS Software modules. The first class, Being Prepared for Year End, was a smash success. All of the sessions were sold out and the feedback that we've received thus far has been very positive.

Our course for December will be NCS-101 - New Community Setup. In this course we will cover the steps necessary to successfully setup a new community in TOPS v3.2.1™. In addition, we will highlight items that you should consider when setting up a community.

We will take a stroll through the New Community Setup Wizard to initialize the basic community. Then we will walk through the process of setting up homeowners, loading homeowner beginning balances, and loading General Ledger beginning balances. We will also review the steps of validating the numbers between TOPS and the system one would be moving from, to ensure a successful transition. The class will conclude with time saving tips for management companies using a template community approach.

This class will be offered at three different time periods on December 13, 2006, 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
