TOPS Software Brings Internet Training to You!

In our quest to make more education opportunities available to our clients, TOPS Software is proud to announce the opening of TOPS University! TOPS U is a new TOPS Internet training program, which will offer all TOPS users the chance to learn the ins and outs of the modules and functions available from TOPS. We have developed several classes from new community set-up to year end processing, and everything else in between (including a five hour in-depth course on CCR/ACC Enforcement).

The first course, "Being Prepared for Year End" is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Because year end functions are done so infrequently, you may need a refresher on the proper procedures to follow. This class will encompass protocols, procedures and best practices when preparing for the year end close process. Course materials will be supplied to participants, and the session will close with a question and answer period.

Class size is limited to 10 companies or communities, per session. However, there is no limit to the number of individuals within an organization. So, if you have a facility with audio visual equipment and Internet connectivity, your entire office can attend!

The courses will be approximately one hour in length, and will be held once a month. In an effort to accommodate our customers across the country we will be holding sessions during two or three time slots on each scheduled date. We want to make the training schedule as convenient as possible, so as demand increases we may offer courses more frequently.

Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion for each training session. We are also currently developing the curriculum and testing for an entire series of training sessions. Once we have completed the required courses, we are planning to offer a certification program whereby an individual can take a test to certify their level of TOPS competency.
