Find Answers to Simple Questions
"All By Myself"
Today boys & girls we're gonna learn about "Trees"
*trails off into song*
Read on and it will become clearer now the rain is gone...
WOW, TOPS Support has been overflowing with calls lately!!! Support
has been returning calls in order they are received by day but geeze
on the wait !!! We're working 9 am to 8 pm non-stop to get to you
guys. Believe it or not, most of the calls have been general info
& how to questions. Most of them have had simple answers. If
only there was only a manual somewhere that gave me that little
step I was missing...
*le sigh*
BUT THERE IS!!!!! YAY!!!!!
In your very own TOPS Software at the top of the screen,
Click on the option for HELP,
In the dropdown click on HELP CONTENTS,
For you people out there with even less time to wait than that simply
click the F1 shortcut button on your keyboard.
*angels singing*
"THIS IS YOUR BUILT IN MANUAL!!!"
It's FULL of all the step by step info you may need for those ONCE
A YEAR tasks, Or just what you require to give to a new trainee
to learn from.
For example: You want to learn how to make a brand new community.
- From the Help Contents window, Click on the SEARCH tab on the
left-ish side,
- In box #1 Type the word(S) you wish to find. In this case we
will type the word "community" and hit the TAB key on
your keyboard,
- In box #2 Select matching words to narrow the search, In this
case we will click on the CAPITOLIZED version of the word "Community",
- in the box #3 Choose topic to display. Our eyes should dart
to the option labeled "Add community wizard",
- On the RIGHT side of the screen, that topic will appear in
the blue area. This topic is printable from the PRINT button at
the top of the box.
ALSO, you could just click on the "CONTENTS" tab to the
left, and it will show you more detail on this topic and where to
find it in the tree view. (The tree view is the list of purple books
on the left with plus symbols next to them.)
I told you we were talkin’ about trees.
;-)
Bye for now neighbor!!!
