TOPS Love, LOVE, LOVES Excel

Once upon a time, there was a mean tech Eve. She was a BAD tech, who only said NO to clients calling in asking how to send our TOPS reports to Excel. Now we at TOPS know you all adore our available reports but sometimes you just wanna... create.

Right???

Ok, so here's the scoop:

I honestly don't know how long I was unaware of this ability, but one day a little Greek bird, who we will call, um, Eros (the God of Love), to protect his identity, told me a secret.

*ALL of the TOPS v3.2.1™ reports can be saved DIRECTLY to Excel format.*

SOOOO COOL HUH!!!!!!!!!???????????

All this time I've been giving out big ol' NO cards like a bad habit and all the while I should have been giving out YES cards.

So to make amends, I'm putting this little secret out on the Internet to be emailed to the thousands of TOPS clients so they'll know too.

To achieve the super secret amazing Excel format, you MUST FOLLOW THESE OPTIONS EXACTLY!!!

1. Choose a report & select options
2. On the print option screen where you have the option to print to:
   Printer, Screen, or File... CHOOSE FILE.
3. On the same print option screen where you have the option to print to:
   Portrait or Landscape... CHOOSE LANDSCAPE
4. On the same print option screen where you have the option to use classic report mode...
   Make sure to turn OFF the check box because you DO NOT want to print using classic report mode.
5. When you click PRINT it will take a good second, then you'll probably see it saying REPORT GENERATING, then a save window will come up.
6. Pay attention to where on your hard drive you are saving the report. At the BOTTOM of the save window you will see the option to SAVE AS TYPE. Click the down arrow and choose: EXCEL and then SAVE!!!

But hey.... shhhhhhhhhhhh... don't forget to tell EVERYONE!!!
