User Group Update

Phoenix User Group Report

After only one User Group Conference in 2005, TOPS planned an ambitious schedule of 6 conferences for 2006. The first User Group Conference was recently held in Phoenix, Arizona. Approximately 90 attendees participated in a day-long user symposium to discuss new features, share best practices, and provide suggestions for future versions of TOPS Software products.

Guest speakers included representatives from US Bank and AtHomeNet, providers of TOPS Interactive Web Sites. In attendance from TOPS Software were President Jeff Hardy, Vice Presidents Ryan Allen and Bruce Gran, and staff members from our new western regional office in Phoenix.

A variety of topics were discussed, including new features in version 3.2.1, such as the upcoming TOPS Internet Backup: Files and Folders, and the new Calendar / Scheduler, currently in the Beta stage, both scheduled for release in August 2006. Customers in attendance also had an opportunity to share their own experiences with 3.2.1 and TOPS Products in general. The conference closed with a special sneak peek at some of the new screen designs for the project code-named TOPS Viper, and a discussion of the many planned improvements that will be included in the new design.

A door prize was given away at the end of the day. The lucky winner, Juan Sandoval of Dana Properties in El Paso, Texas received an iPod Nano and a $50 gift certificate to iTunes. Each attendee also received a packet containing a printout of the entire presentation to share with their coworkers.

We would like to thank each and every customer that attended, your feedback is extremely valuable to us. We are looking forward to a great experience for the upcoming user group conferences for the remainder of 2006, and more to come across the country in 2007.

This summer, Colonial Bank will be hosting four TOPS User Group Conferences in key cities in Florida. Following the Florida series, Community Advantage Bank will be hosting a TOPS User Group conference in the windy city. We hope to see you at one of these exciting events!
