Announcing the release of a new budget entry tool for General Ledger

Entering and updating budgets into TOPS v3.2.1™ is now easier than ever! The new budget entry tool for General Ledger features a new design and added features, which will allow users to:

• Easily enter, update and print yearly budgets for communities, using a “spreadsheet” interface similar to popular spreadsheet packages.
• Store Budget Notes attached to budget line items explaining the line item.
• Export the budget in several formats including Microsoft Excel®.
• New Budget Detail, Summary, and Comparison reports can be printed with or without the Budget Notes. In addition, these budget reports can be generated in PDF, Excel or Word file format.

This new design was a result of customer requests to make a more user friendly budget entry and analysis tool. The new budget entry tool is available only for TOPS v.3.2.1™ users with an active Maintenance Support Plan. This new program will be released on the TOPS Internet Updater later this month.
