TOPS v3.2.1™BLASTS OFF!
While NASA is busy preparing the shuttle Discovery's
return to flight for a mid-July launch, we've been very busy at
TOPS Software preparing the launch of our newest release, TOPS v3.2.1™,
scheduled for general release September 2005.
v3.2.1 Features
TOPS v3.2.1™ is loaded with enhancements
all geared toward improving productivity. We've added a phone messaging
system, a calendar / reminder system, and a fully integrated PDF
printing engine. We have made enhancements to Owners and CC&R,
such as the ability to electronically save and send letters. We
have developed a whole new set of global functions that allow you
to better manage your portfolio of communities, including Global
Reports, Global Lookups and Community Summaries, enhanced Job Streaming,
and CC&R Batch functions. All of these features are powered
by a sophisticated new user-based security system.

Automatically save a PDF of any form letter
to a folder in the owners record.

These are just a few of the new features
in TOPS v3.2.1™.
Phone Messenger
The TOPS phone messenger is a new free module
in TOPS v3.2.1™. It allows the users to track incoming phone
calls and take messages. Users can assign messages to other users
in the system. This provides a record of who calls, what their issues
are, who the call got assigned to, and the amount of time spent
on the call. This new feature is intended to improve communication.
It can also be used to track and assess how much time is being spent
dealing with specific associations. It is a valuable tool for any
management company.
Calendar / Scheduler
The TOPS calendar and scheduler system is another
new free module in TOPS v3.2.1™. This amazing new feature
allows you to manage your time directly in TOPS v3.2.1™. Property
managers can track important board meetings. Accountants can schedule
when assessments are applied, and the scheduler will automatically
link to apply charges.
This feature is integrated with many of the commonly used functions
such as applying charges, collections, printing checks, and much
more. Once the scheduler has been set up, TOPS v3.2.1™ will
practically run itself.
PDF Reports
With TOPS v3.2.1™ there will also be great
enhancements to printing. We have added an advanced printing feature
that allows any report to be converted to PDF format, which may
be printed, emailed, saved, or uploaded to your TOPS Community Web
Site.
One of the greatest features in the advanced printing
is the ability to save form letters to an owner's folder. We have
added an owner's attachments feature that allows you to store important
correspondence in electronic format.
Not only will TOPS v3.2.1™ save copies of collection and violation
letters to the owner's file, you will also be able to scan or store
other documents, files, and pictures related to that property. This
is a huge step to a paperless office, saving both time and money.

The general release of TOPS v3.2.1™, will be sent out October
