TOPS 2000™ Version 3.04 Released

The last few months has seen the TOPS Software staff busily working on two new versions of the TOPS 2000™ property management software. The first version, 3.04 is scheduled for release June, 2002.

This release covers improvements to the CC&R, Work Order, Gate Security, and Pool Pass modules as well as the form letter program. Customers using any of the above mentioned modules should expect the new version to arrive in the mail this summer.

General Enhancements

The first thing you will notice is a new look for all of the add-on modules listed above. We have incorporated a new icon scheme, and many new screen designs to make these modules more user friendly. Another major enhancement is a general speedup of each of the add-on modules, including enhanced compression of executables, which will increase load speeds for remote connections.

Work Order Enhancements

The Work Order Module has been re-worked completely to provide a better interface, particularly for users of the Work Order costs interface.

CC&R Enhancements

Several reporting enhancements have been made to improve CCR reports. We have also added a new CCR utility which allows you to update new action steps to existing records.

Gate Security Enhancements

The new program, TOPS Guard Gate is now included in the Gate Security module of TOPS 2000™. We have also added the timestamp feature, which includes a report for tracking visitor entry times.

Pool Pass Enhancements

You may now it multiple passes for selected homes via a new report selection interface.

Form Letter Enhancements

A number of new merge codes have been added, most notably the outstanding CCR Violations code, which now enables estoppel letters to be printed via form letter. We have also added a 10,000 level undo/redo feature.
