Temporary Payroll Solution Now Available
The DOS Payroll module is now accessible in TOPS 2000™. This
will update and run payroll in TOPS 2000™ as a temporary solution
for current payroll customers who wish to upgrade to TOPS 2000™,
as well as new customers who must have a payroll solution immediately.
The temporary payroll module is exactly the same as the one used
in TOPS Pro and TOPS EZ Lite for MS DOS.
It contains a number of features, including an employee database
with last and next review dates; vacation and sick leave tracking;
time tracking; job costing; separate department tracking; and 401k
and other pre-tax adjustments.
The temporary solution is currently being made available to customers
who have pre-purchased the Payroll module, and do not wish to wait
for the Windows release of the payroll module.
The Windows version of the TOPS 2000™ payroll module is scheduled
for release later this year.
