TOPS 2000™ Program Updates on the Web

We've been very busy at TOPS Software. Along with re-structuring our sales department and moving our support department to our Clearwater, Florida office, we've also managed to release the newest update to TOPS 2000™ on the Internet! 

Because it was our first major venture into this high tech area, we had a bit of a rocky start. Our support department valiantly handled calls from customers for whom the update did not work properly. 

These issues have all been handled, and recent customers who have performed the update have had an extremely high level of success. 

The Internet Update is a very important tool for you, our customer. The update compares the TOPS 2000™ program files on your computer with the program files on our Internet server, and updates your files accordingly. 

Although your first time performing the update may take several hours on a modem, subsequent updates, if performed on a regular basis, can go very quickly due to the fact that many files will already have been updated on your computer. 

For those of you who are using a network, this is very good news, as you can upgrade your server on a regular basis, and use our Auto Updater program to update all of the computers connected to the network. 

The Internet Update is available from www.topssoft.com in the downloads section. Alternatively, you can access the update directly from TOPS 2000™ by clicking Internet on the menu bar, and selecting Update TOPS 2000. This link goes directly to the Internet, and checks your files against ours. You must be connected to the Internet to use this option. 

We are very excited about the success of the Internet Updates, and we will be continuing to use the Internet to provide timely and precise updates to our customers.
