The Year In Review
2005, what an exciting year full of successes and great changes. TOPS Software continues to be the software solution of choice for the Association Management Industry; we had another record year in sales. Sales - Westward-Ho!
In January 2006, TOPS Software will be opening a new satellite office in Phoenix, AZ. We will be hiring a full time employee to staff this office, and I will be splitting my time between our Sales office in Clearwater, FL and the new office in Phoenix, AZ. Our sales have dramatically increased in the western region of the US; so to better serve our clients, the most practical next step for TOPS Software was to open an office in the area.

Online Payment AutoPay Changes for Credit Cards
To prevent against fraud and reduce payment disputes, our online payment processor, DuesPayment, will no longer allow owners to set up "Auto Pay" on a credit card. Direct Debit autopay will still be available, but for those customers that prefer to use a credit card to make their regular dues payments, a new feature is now available.
Owners simply use the "Click Pay" service to remind them to make payments on a certain day each month. While the processor will not automatically make the payment for the owner, The owner will receive an e-mail each month to remind them to pay online.

1) Make sure you are logged into the computer that will be performing the update. (If you are updating in a networked environment, update the server first, as a workstation, and then run the update on each workstation.)
2) If it is open, close TOPS on your computer.
3) Connect to the Internet and navigate to TOPS' Downloads page.
4) Under "Program Updates" click the GO button.
5) Click Open, to run the update from the current location.
6) When the TOPS Web Updater appears, click the down arrow next to 'Select Module to Check' and Choose TOPS 2000.
7) On the bottom right, ensure that the "Workstation Only" option is selected.
8) Click the "Begin Update" button. (The system may prompt you for a User ID. If so, enter in your TOPS Customer ID)
9) Once the update is complete, you can close this window and re-open TOPS 2000™.
We have three new themes for December, Happy Holidays 2005, 70's Mod, and Alien Antics. We have also updated the icons on the Dolphins theme, and updated the background on the Happy Holidays theme, which has been renamed to Happy Holidays 2004.
